    High Quality Cummerbund

I am currently employed as a LEO in the PNW and our agency does not issue plate carriers. We obviously receive a patrol vest, but are not issued rifle plates. With everything going on in the country today, I took it upon myself to get a plate carrier and rifle plates. After extensive research I continued to gravitate towards the Spiritus Systems LV-119. I was a little intimidated by the build-out process on the website at first, but have since come to love it. Given that I am using money out of my own pocket, I wanted to be sure of what I was getting and also have the opportunity to adapt the plate carrier as needed. The LV-119 has been great for this. I have been able to swap out various placards for different operations and the MOLLE cummerbund has been perfect for adding additional gear. So if you're looking for a high quality, modular, American-made plate carrier... it's hard to be Spiritus Systems.

    Molle Tubes Cummerbund

I bought mine to replace the Velcro in a JPC 2.0. My JPC is a medium with a small/medium cummerbund. The size 2 is exactly the same length cummerbund and the Molle Tubes cummerbund. With plenty of adjustment space to spare. The Axl JPC Tubes adapter also adds a level of fine adjustment in placing the Velcro male tube carriers. Excellent setup

    Great!

I am a size 34 and the size 1 fits me fine. I do have the cummerbund on its last attachment so it will be fine for me. Even if I throw on a fleece layer the cummerbund is fine. Now like others say there is not much adjustment once installed so make sure you give yourself some room if you plan to wear layers. Installing the male part on your Front LV-119 was a breeze as long as you have some pliers. I am waiting for my AXL adapters to ship I think that will add much more adjustment if needed. Great product!

    IOTV Compatible

I bought these for my JPC but decided to try them out on the IOTV. They're a game changer. If you're willing to drop the dollars, AXL Advanced makes a Adaptive Velcro Placard designed for the IOTV to accept both the Velcro Tubes Adaptors (AXL), as well as the Microfight, or any chest rig with hook and loop backing. If your unit isn't backwards and doesn't force you to wear CIF-only pouches, this is the move. Full send and never look back. I was trying to decide between getting the HSP D3CRM micro and the SS microfight for my kit, the customer service here sold me on the microfight. As soon as they dropped, i got the whole rig. I appreciate you guys, love your products.

    Love these tubes

Love the first spear tubes on this cummerbund. Save the hassle of wearing out velcro and lifting placard on removal. Please don't listen to this size up nonsense. At 44 chest and a 34 waist, even if I fully overlap this cummerbund, it still fits somewhat loosely with 1 inch plates on a medium plate bag with no side armor. Would love to see an elastic cell tube option in the future.

    SIZE UP!

Im a 32 waist, and the Size 1 fit VERY snug with just a t-shirt on. Wouldve been impossible to put my kit on if i needed to wear warmies or have more attachments to the cumberbun.

    Go up a size

Like most the other comments say go up a size. I’m a 31 inch waist and am at the largest you can go with the size 1, but other than that the cummerbund works exactly as advertised.

    Excellent

Great product, quality stitching, excellent construction. I’m running this cummerbund on a Velocity Systems Scarab LT. The first-spear tubes are really what sold this product for me, they’re so much better than Velcro. Size 2 on me is loose (6’0” 180Lbs) unless you use the overlapping weave method as shown in the installation guide to get a solid fit.

    Size up

6'5", waist 36. Maxed out size 1 wearing a t shirt with side plates and could hardly breathe. If you find coach seating roomy, you'll be fine, otherwise, get size 2. 5 stars for attachment engineering and quality.

    Great stuff

Just watch the sizing 6’2 195 and a size one at the max adjustments for layered clothes If your running thicker than ESAPI plates your gonna need a size 2.

Description

NOTE: This LV/119 Cummerbund is designed for use with a front O V E R T and rear O V E R T or C O V E R TLV/119 plate bag.

The TUBES™ MOLLE Cummerbund was designed to be a lightweight and simple load carriage solution for the LV/119 series of vests.

Using the widely adopted MOLLE system, the cummerbund offers almost infinite configurations for mission needs by utilizing any MOLLE accessory that can be found on the market.

The cummerbund is designed to allow simultaneous use of the same MOLLE cell for products mounted on the inside and outside of the cummerbund.

The TUBES™ MOLLE Cummerbund is a great option for those who are in and out of their vest frequently and have experienced wear and tear on their hok & loop attachment vests. It is also a great option for those who are wearing their equipment in and around water.

The TUBES™ MOLLE Cummerbund features the officially licensed First Spear TUBES™ Attachments systems developed by and officially licensed from First Spear.

The TUBES™ MOLLE Cummerbund is Berry Amendment Compliant materials sourced from industry leaders in textiles manufacturing.

Cummerbund Attachment

The cummerbund attachment is a proprietary system that allows for the use of all of our cummerbunds, as well as allowing for a wide range of adjustment. The cummerbund attaches inside the plate bag, which is advantageous for a few reasons.

1. There is no external mounting that can get snagged or rip off when exiting vehicles in haste.

2. The design creates a smooth profile when worn underneath clothing.

3. Hook & loop is not utilized as an attachment method on the rear plate bag. Hook & loop wears out over time and is a generally less-than-optimal attachment method when not supported in other ways. Hook & loop doesn't handle weight well and it sticks to everything, especially cloth seats.

4. Every front plate bag comes standard with sewn loops on the sides for attaching First Spear TUBES™ for use with our TUBES™ cummerbund.

Sizing

The cummerbund comes in two sizes: Size 1 and Size 2, each offering up to 14 inches of total adjustment. This allows for a proper fitment for a wide variety of body types.

To figure our appropriate sizing, take measurement of the waist at the belly button. When measuring, users should dress as they would while actually wearing the carrier. For example, if the user is operating in arctic environments, they should be wearing cold weather equipment when measuring.

Size 1: 28" to 42"

Size 2: 40" to 54"

If your waist measurement is 42", we suggest going up to the Size 2 cummerbund.
